Week 2 of my

On-the-Job Training (OJT)

I woke up extra early to travel to Kidapawan City in order to help with the community-wide clean-up drive.

During my on-the-job training (OJT), I was assigned to handle the digital registration of the community clean-up drive. Here, I am shown holding the device up to an employee's ID to scan the QR code and thus efficiently log their presence.

I started my Monday morning by participating in the official flag ceremony held at the City Hall together with the government employees and other interns. This is an important part of my OJT experience since it allows me to appreciate the significance of discipline, unity, and public service in the organization.

After the flag ceremony, I moved on to my technical role of managing the QR code attendance for the City Hall employees. As evident from the photos, I was able to manage the online attendance system to record all the attendees of the morning session properly.

Since our recent training, I have been applying my skills by processing the attendance records gathered from the QR code system the next day. Following the guidance given by Sir Charles last week, I have been working on properly migrating and organizing the scanned data into attendance sheet. It was a fulfilling experience to work on the 'back-end' of the process, making sure that the digital records from the field are properly recorded and organized in the system.
